Hard Truths
The hardest thing in the world to accept is that there is no one coming for you and you have to do it all yourself. If someone comes for you and they help you, then that person leaves or they are no longer around (whatever may be the case), you are unable to help yourself. That is not a good scenario for you because you always think you're going to have tomorrow. Or the next ten, fifteen or twenty years. However, when you retire and you don't quite look like you did in your twenties and early thirties and you don't have any money- that’s going to be a hard thing to accept.
You’d be experiencing a serious downgrade in your life. The best thing you could ever do is make your money while you're young, and enjoy your money when you're older. If you're able to do this you're going to see a lot of things in your life change and help you dramatically. All because you were able to do it when you were young and you had the energy and the time. Please don’t think you’re going to live the way you live now, if you're living really well, and still be fine in your thirties and beyond, without having your investments and money to lean on. You can lean on having this luxurious lifestyle while you’re young, but you're not going to get anything back from it when you’re older, because you’re not investing and being wise with your money.
So it's very important that you realize you have time now, and right now is the time to learn to make the money you want to make. So that you can invest it, pay your taxes and get your retirement. So when you're not able to do very much for yourself at an older age, you won't have to worry about it because you already did make money for yourself at a younger age. The younger years will take care of the older years.
